Graduate School of Education Residency in Boston, MA

What learners need today is connection.

What is a residency?

A residency is similar to an academic conference organized by GSE faculty and staff who participate in the Residency Committee. Students participate in sessions throughout the day(s) to engage in their faculty and peer networks. The full residency experience and its content are geared towards current students. If you are an alumnus or will soon be defending your dissertation, please keep a look out for future alumni communications on how you can engage with Residency.

Is there a residency requirement and how do I fulfill the requirement?

Yes, EdD students are required to attend two residencies prior to their dissertation phase to receive credit for residency. EdD students are required to attend all events on Friday and Saturday to earn residency credit.
